When I first skimmed the given text, I tried to guess what it is about but in longer and complex texts, it is not possible to guess without reading. So this web page helps us to get an idea what the text is about by highlighting the key words. For instance, when I tried it on the given passage, it shows that it's about language learning. The web page prioritises the words according to their frequency. It is useful in teaching English because students have not chance to read every passage word by word.So, by this method, they skim it quickly and get the main idea before reading in detail. Additionally, you can apply it to each paragraph to see what each paragraph is about.
